Confirmed that it shows the 6k rev limit that was set by EcuTek so it should be golden! Nice work MrFred!

this is the correct one.. during beta it was already confirmed the original stat limiter was wrong..

The new one was updated to the beta testers .. but it got misplaced when the public ecuflash was released .. sorry .. I didn't check the release version ..

I know this is an old thread, but i'm a newbie when it comes to adjusting the xml files. Do I just paste the lines in and delete the old stationary rev limit line? Or leave that line in and just past the new stuff in as well? I was playing around with it earlier and my cpu does not allow me to save the file. An error comes up that .xml is not supported and cannot be saved. Any influence in the right direction will be appreciated.

I just pasted it at the bottom before the </rom> and saved, no problems. What ROM are you using?

i'm using 18 but mrfred stated earlier in this thread that you can adjust the 15 file and it fixes them all.

I put it in 15 at first, checked it, worked. Then I put it in the 18 still worked. But are you using the 15_mods or just 15(should be 15).

Odd that they didn't integrate this change from 1.41 -> 1.42 update, maybe next time.

Well this sucks though. I bought a new laptop for tuning and it won't save the damn xml file.

Is it running Vista? Vista can be finicky about saving to directories under "Program Files". You may have to save it elsewhere, then manually copy/paste it where it belongs.

^+1. Try reformatting with a dual boot vista, xp. Its not the computer. Try wordpad, notepad, notepad ++, check and make sure its not a read only rom etc. Dont give up on that new laptop!

Anyone know the correct address for 503040007. I have the following address in my xml, but it does nothing when i change the limit value.

<table name="Stationary Rev Limiter" address="53442"/>

Not sure how to really find those, Tephra?

I've played around with this value a bit lately to test some Airflow Limits and Torque Limits limp modes that I'm getting when using the studder launch. While my tables work great for the car at 27+ psi it seems they don't like the fact that I'm only making 120% load at 6000 rpm and 100% throttle which is around 5 psi. I used to be able to hold it another couple seconds to make 10 psi for a great launch.

I adjusted my airflow limits tables down slightly so no "lack of" airflow limp mode but now the torque limits tables seem to be triggering the skid marks on the dash SES light when I stay in the studder for more than 2 seconds. This used to never trigger on me with lower limits set so it might just be a juggling act to get it working. I'm trying to dig up a Vista compatible OBD2 logger to get the exact codes, I don't want to guess on this kind of thing.

OK, now that I added the definitions, what does the "Stationary Rev Limit Cross Under Max Speed Enable Delay" do?

Also, I never quite understood what the 2 numbers are for the rev limiter. Why is there a "Rev limiter on" and a "Rev limiter off" at a slightly lower number?
