Hi, like the title says, do someone has tested on the dyno or on the quarter mile the real number for the stock car vs cobb stage 1???
the stage one is stock or with an intake....and gets a tuned map already done by cobb.
I would really love to know if someone have dynoed it.
they say what 17% HP...and 7% torque.
stock car si 233whp and 250 torque.. if my memorie is good....so 272 whp and 267 torque......are those numbers accurate?

I do not have a stock dyno reading, but my car put down 286hp and 291tq with the Cobb stage 1 map. I also have an UICP, but otherwise all stock even the air filter.
I was told by the shop that on average X's are putting down 235-245Hp and 250-260tq at their shop.
I am not going to get into are the exact percentages correct, but I can tell you the AP stage 1 makes my X feel like a completely different car....very notice power increase.

really....seems to be good....but the UICP makes a big difference at 23 psi...I THINK...thanks a lot.

I didnt get a copy of the first untuned run, but here is my stage 1 map off the AP(dotted lines) and custom tune (solid lines)on Cobbs dyno. Mods were Cobbs SF intake and inlet pipe. On the stage 1 run the numbers cut off early but you can get an idea. Tq was 282 and hp would probly have been around 260+. The custom tune made a huge difference.

wow.....stage one made a good difference from the stock....but custom wow. can you get a custom tune with the AP? the AP is like a ECUTEK?

Custom is the way to go, and yes that is possible with the AP. The base off the shelf maps are nice for those who don't want to tune a car themselves or are far away from a shop.Originally Posted by novaspyder87

You will see your best gains with a custom tune, but our staged maps also give great gains over stock.

So is the UICP ok to run with the stage 1 map?Originally Posted by skywalker
