Question X GSR ICS Waterspray ?

I have a USDM X GSR and I can't find the ICS / Intercooler waterspray or anything related to it. There is nothing about it in the user manual and nothing in the service manual. The question is: does it really have an ICS/waterspray or not?

i was thinking about blocking off my windshield sprayers and use a "t" to route a hose to the intercooler, i just need to figure out how to stop the windshield wipers from moving when i use the ICS. does anyone know how to stop the windshield wipers when the spray happens, but still make them functional on the other settings?

you wont notice a difference.. the only thing it really helps with is heat soak, other then that its kinda a waste-o-moneez

Romania gets hot in the summer - the heat soak mitigation is as good a reason as any. Would be reason alone if you get stuck in something like LA traffic, but doubt anything on that scale exists in Bucharest.

I live in Timisoara, but the daily traffic is higher than in LA, because we don't have such large streets
What do you think about this waterspray ? http://autospeed.com/cms/title_World...0/article.html
I am thinking on getting one of these
And mixing water with 10% alcohool makes the cooling effect much higher.

My opinion regarding adding the weight of a water bottle to the car is that your money is better spent on meth injection. I assume that in Romania that windshield fluid is like in the USA: 50/50 distilled water/methanol. It is easy to get pre-mixed and meth injection offers a host of other benefits a water sprayer can't match, like the ability to run higher boost.

More expensive, but offers performance scalability that a water sprayer can't.

But the windshield fluid also contains detergents which I don't think are too good for the engine

If you look closely, some do, some don't. The blue stuff is USUALLY safe and free of detergent.

But I also use the car for daily drive which would require a big tank for water/methanol...
