Most Important Gauges
I agree for tuning, but what about while driving? Safe tune, mildly modified, just daily to work, and some sporadic track time?
Maybe a better question is:
Say the tune has already been dialed in, and is daily-driver safe. What makes AFR important enough to be available at a glance, over the other options, in that situation?
Not contesting your knowledge, just trying to educate myself.

- vacuum line can pop off (or split) the FPR causing you to run WAY lean under boost
- Injectors can foul causing you to run lean in open loop and generally crappy elsewhere
- boost leaks will cause you to run rich under boost and lean off boost
just a few conditions a wideband will help you spot before they become a serious problem.
I know this is late in the game, considering it's been a while since the last post on this thread, but what's the difference between an AFR gauge and a wideband AFR? I know the wideband is almost quadruple the price (not sure why).
If I'm not mistaken, the Wideband AFR Gauges are much more accurate. Worth the extra money.
