E85 mileage question

Just wondering for those of you out there that run E85, what sort of mileage do you get vs. when you were running 91/93? I have not one station within 25 miles of me which sucks, because I had thought of converting to run it. Other question is... what do you pay per gallon where you are?

Im running e85 in my X, gas mileage is only good when you dont push the throttle to hard. Flooring it once i tested my mpg on the dash was about 2 mpg and i wasnt even at full boost. =\

but you do get more hp from it too though which is a plus when you want it so during normal driving what sort of mileage do you get?

Expect about 25% lower mileage than whatever you get now.

MN ftw on this topic, most E-85 stations in the nation and under $2.00 last I checked. I talked to a few tuners including the one that did Zwingeryry's car and they said it really isn't too much different overall, at least they didn't get different gas mileage in their personal cars.

It's really how you drive, but I get bad MPG now so in a few weeks when I am corn fed I am sure it will be a little worse.

if cruising like a normal daily driver you'll get around 16-18 miles per gallon depending on how rich or lean you're running your AF mix. When you stomp on it, I'd guess you get like 6 mpg or less.

Its pretty tough to do better than 17 mpg in city driving, at least on an Evo 9. The best I've ever gotten was on my last road trip where I drove very steadily at 70 mph and was able to get 19 mpg.

Stomping on it isn't as bad as you might think. E85 tunes a little leaner than gasoline, so stomping on it once in a while doesn't as greatly affect gas mileage as it does for gasoline.

I wonder if Cobb will come out with an E85 map anytime soon?
