AMS 02 Sensor spacer

Anyone know how to install this thing?
It looks pretty straight forward, but I don;'t understand what these three metalic item or that rubber horseshoe is there for.
Answers?

Maybe this picture will help...

As for the three different restrictors & lock ring you received with the O2 spacer, try the middle size one first and secure it with the lock ring inside the spacer. after that it's just a matter of installing the O2 spacer into your pipe, then installing the O2 sensor itself into the spacer (don't forget to use some anti-sieze for this). If you end up getting a CEL even after installing the O2 spacer, you may have to remove it and try one of the other sized restrictors.

I have the AMS downpipe and the AMS HFC. Put the spacer on the HFC and the CEL came on. DO I need to put 1 on the downpipe?

make sure you clear the cel first.

if it still comes on use a different spacer.

Guys On AMS website it show a pic of the spacer. Isn't the spacer just a 2 or 3 dollar antifouler? If it is seems like 25 dollars is a little much!!!

you're right. it's exactly what it is.

and you're right, it is a bit much. i'd opt for the touge factory L type...but i wasn't smart enough back then.

no; putting it on the downpipe has no effect whatsoever.
