New EvoX MR

Hi guys, I picked up my Evo last night and I just have a few questions.

A) I had the Cobb Accessport for my SI. Is there ANY way to make this work with the EVO?

I can't purchase a new Accessport for my EVO

From Cobb:

EVO 8 & 9 AccessPORT Discontinued The AccessPORT for the EVO 8 and EVO 9 require a specialized OBD-II dongle that is not used in any other application. It is no longer cost effective for COBB Tuning to continue to manufacture this specialized dongle at the current EVO 8 and EVO 9 AccessPORT sales volumes.

What's the next best option? (and no mailing of the ECU)...

I guess that's only one question....

The best option is a dyno tune. The second-best is to use a Tactrix cable in conjunction with a laptop (i.e. an email tune) to reflash your ECU.

A dyno tune is probably done with EcuFlash + Tactrix. Screw COBB, buy a Tactrix cable and take control of your ECU.

Cobb has an upgrade program... http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=3846 If you plan on staying within the boundaries of the OTS maps Cobb has, why bother with something else?

There are a bunch of Ap's for sale on the forums that are a lot cheaper than a new one.
