As far as I know, it has a MAC valve like the GrimmSpeed one.

But the point is to keep the stock ECU boost control because it offers WAY more control and intelligence than any aftermarket boost controller does (minus a standalone ECU).

i'm running the grimmspeed one. after the gm, harness and resistor it wasn't much cheaper than what i paid for the grimmspeed plug-n-play.

I installed it the same time i did the fp red and it was super simple. my only gripe is the barbs need to be a touch bigger. wg duty cycles max at 60 to get 28 psi.

It cost me $50 shipped for GM harness and Solenoid, and $7 for the connector...
I'm sure both valves do a good job, I wish someone would send their Grimspeed for a comparison test... that way we know how it does against all the other ones.

GM BCS's are much more expensive now. Trust me, I looked before I bought my GrimmSpeed. We're talking $80+ for the solenoid and harness.

Don't forget the OEM 3 port option.

Plug and play and only around $50

Part # MR204853

Evap. That's what mitsubishiparts says. $47

How does it compare? I don't care between $47-$89, but want something that will perform on an upgraded turbo setup.

I was thinking Perrin or grimspeed or maybe this. Are they all plug and play?

Is a 3 port really necessary on the stock turbo? I have a GST boost pill and after installing my UR downpipe, hit 20psi at 7000rpm. Prior to the downpipe, I was hitting 19.5. This is with the stock wastegate actuator thats never been adjusted.

3port not only helps with max boost, but also speeds up spool by keeping 0 psi on the WG for as long as possible...

I hit 27psi at 2900 RPM in 4th starting at 2000rpm and can hold it until about 6000rpm. I don't have the boost tuned that high because the turbo is blowing hott air with that much pressure at that RPM, but it is attainable. I can understand a 3 port with a larger turbo, but for the stock turbo, I believe the stock solenoids and a boost pill are perfect.
