From Ferrari 360 to Evo X
We are blessed with lots of good tuners in the area. TTP, AWD, JESTR all know what they are doing.
You'll notice that people have their favorite tuners by the way they post. I would try to find some other Evo owners with mods and see what they've done.
If you have time, try an Autocross and/or HPDE with your Evo to really get a feel for how the AWD system works.

Not saying I don't believe the OP, but...
I would hardly say that the F360 has "enormous torque". Sure, it's a wonderful engine, but down low it's not exactly a torque monster, even for a V8. F-car engines are (somewhat) small displacement and like to rev, which is where they make power.
And, yes, I have first-hand experience in an F360. Don't get me wrong, incredible cars, wonderful engines, beautiful to look at. Oh, but that twitchiness at the limit is tough to handle, kind of like my S2000.

Not to stir the pot...but fo real.
Who here would get an X if they could afford to daily a 360? if you wanted AWD Turbo fun why not go for a GT-R or 911turbo?
anyways good luck with the new car. its fun and can be built up to be a beast.

DD is my 360. I have 4 cars. the 360 has gobs of bottom end torque, you punch the gas at a light and the car dances. My S2000 doesnt come close. Nor does my M5.
;-)
Thanks for all the kind words. I decided to go with Mike @ AWD Performance. Right now we decided on lots of ETS goodies, ECU tune, etc...I will keep you all informed.

M5 is family car. 360 is literally sold to a new party in PA. When I first posted this, car was listed for sale. The EVO is really a fun car to drive. The maintenance is sick. My last service bill for it was $11k.

Worth to look up the tuner you decide with Google search etc.
Look up discussion and results from them on forums. Most importantly look up tuners who are long time on track with good results.
Experience - reliability - track times are the most important . Look up those who have all of them.
Don't settle . Take your time and you will not regret it. Other wise you will be not satisfyed.
Do NOT go by dyno numbers.

Hi guys, I bought a 2010 Evo X yesterday. 5 spd, SSS, in Wicked White.
I am new to "tuning", and I would would welcome the top 3 do's or do not's with my car. Like I previously stated, my daily is a 360 Modena.
And I must say this is my first AWD turbo car. Today I took a windy passage at over 70 MPH in the Evo, which would normally be impossible in the Ferrari due to its enormous torque and RWD.
Needless to say, Im hooked.
So, without knowing any local tuners, whom would you folks recommend to perform an ECU tune? I do not initially plan to aggressively mod the car. I am planning on ECU tune, intake, exhaust, and maybe a less obnoxious BOV for giggles.
Any advice is appreciated.
