electrical boost gauge question

Is it possible to wire an electrical boost gauge into the factory mitsubishi evolution X 3.3 bar map sensor and get reading from there rather than using the map sensor that comes with the gauge?

technicly it is posible. but you would run the risk of interferring with the ecu that allso reads that sensor

so does an electrical boost gauge auto calibrate to what ever map sensor you plug into it , or is it calibrated for the map sensor that it comes with...
