I can tell you who doesn't have a TT, people with FAST KEY!

This is why you keep seeing everyone with Evo 8/9's saying they have TT's.

Forget it, not necessary on the X and basically impossibly without lots of work with FAST Key.

TT is JDM Yo. Every honda owner uses one so they can fill there dash full of pointless gauges and gadgets with fancy buttons that glow. It's to let other people know that you have a turbo in your car because you have a device that says "Turbo" on it.

Greddy TT here. Set for 1:00 countdown. I get my keys out of the ignition and it allows the car to finish one more cycle of the radiator fan on then off and run for 15 seconds or so before shutting the car off.

I tend to be a little **** about it but it ensures the engine has been cooled down some without any load and just a idle after running it. I feel better letting at least set and idle and cool the oil / coolant down before it just shuts off.

So, to answer the OP's question.

Lots and lots of Evo 8/9's run turbo timers. Most X's don't. They don't really work on our cars, but most of us have figured out that we don't need them.

I bought one a few years ago but never installed it, If you push your evo just drive slow for the next mile and wait about 30 seconds before you turn her off. It's something you should make a habit. Off topic- I have a brand new turbo timer for sale, I think it's hks.

Coolant does not circulate with the engine off nor does oil, not spending 100 buck to protect your 35000 investment doesn't make sense. It may be a bit excessive sometimes but I would rather be safe. Like everyone else just my opinion.
