Cobb AP: can u delete preloaded maps?

Cobb AP: can u delete preloaded maps?

The cobb ap comes with a bunch of preloaded maps on there. and you can only fit 20 maps total right? Soooo can you delete the preloaded maps that come on the ap? i dont even see the preloaded maps on AP manager... do you need accesstuner race to do so? thanks!

Yes you can. You have to make sure you have the AP connected to AP manager and click on the device and it will show the maps. All you have to do is right click each map then left click on delete.

i'll have to look again, but when i originally hooked it up no maps were shown on AP manager when i clicked on the AP device. so i added some maps off the included CD. when i went to install, it said too many maps, delete some. so i deleted some and ALL the preloaded maps were on the AP already so... wassup wit dat?

It copies all the maps for your car to the available map section during install. The thing has maps for all the cars it's usable in, '08, '10, RA. It needs room to copy all the maps over, but once it's installed, you can simply delete all the ones you don't want.
