Tephra, any idea why it keeps locking up on you? Is it because of testing your TephraMODs or just random failures?

I might do one just for fun, if I stumble a plug/socket in the near future.

Would be handy to have.

Right now I just have a bundle (neat, of course <-- OCD) of wires and crushed ATX wiring with pin labels. Attached to a container connected to my power supply. My own little "bench kit".

yeah ditto...

obd is the main one, should be easy enough to find a female connector...

no chance of finding an ECU plug, unless I goto the wreckers

but that would be ideal, then you dont even need to pull the ECU from the car.

however this isn't something I particularly want todo a lot

Hmm... I'll see what we have around here. There might even be enough to have a spare one sent to Melbourne...

Slightly off topic, but i would like to extend my personal gratitude to Tephra for personally coming to my aide in Melbourne "benching" my ecu after i bricked it.

Coincidently i bricked the ecu and it was stuck in the programming mode and couldn't start the car and so it happened a day before my business trip to Melbourne. So i brought the ecu all the way from Kuala Lumpur. Met Tephra in Melbourne and he had his bench kit with him, i had my tactrix cable with me and using my own laptop, i can safely say his ecu benching method works!

Now my car is up and running again!

Thanks again mate!
