Injectors

Im looking to go with E85 but I trying to figure out what injectors are the best for my set up? Looking for the injectors to support between 400-500hp with a single walbro 255. What I have seen is the FIC 1150, ID1000 and the DW1000. What are everyone using and have success with?

Ive seen people run the DW1000s a bunch but, take a moment and look at the dyno results in here and find the ones using E85 and what injectors there using.

I dont think they are even making the DW1000 anymore. I believe they jumped to 1500, not sure how to get a set though.

a single walbro (255L/h) will max out at about 1050cc/min

personally I would probably go with the FIC's..

whatever is plug and play - i dont really think you can go wrong...

Yes, I guess that means PnP but with a pigtail.

Includes pigtails PGTJETR4 or add P&Play adaptors PADPJtoD4.

I have FIC 1100.

Very easy to tune and no warm start / idle issues. MrFred has a post on here about them. There is also a post in this section too.

I used tsitalon1's scaling and made a minor tweak to them. Car started perfect the first time on both pump and E-85.

To get 500whp you will need a double pumper....
the ID 2200 would be a better injector since you will run the ID 1000s at 97% at wot at around 450whp

this is all assuming you are talking about a dynojet....if you are talking about a mustang dyno then you will have to have ID2200 and a double pumper

If you want 450whp ID1000 and a double pumper should be fine

Yup. Welcome to the problem that everyone running E85 on a stock-framed upgrade turbo has...either you leave power on the table or you go mass overkill on your fuel system.
