Bent my UICP.. can i still use it?

EDIT* LICP not UICP

when i was taking off my LICP so i can take it to go get powder coated i accidentally bent it because i forgot to take off this almost hidden bolt that holds it in place.

the dent is very minor, will it effect flow enough to where i would need to buy a new one?

if so would the UR LICP work with the Speed Circuit CAI that i just bought?

thanks in advance.

Thats the stock uicp correct? Do not worry, it will not effect air flow enough to change hp numbers but it is a good time to go aftermarket

The stock UICP is pretty poor. You might as well upgrade it. If you're getting it powder coated, just buy a proper aftermarket piece in the color you want. Probably not much more expensive, and certainly a hell of a lot better than a bent stock one.

The stock LICP is actually a pretty good part. I can see getting one for engine bay consistency, but I didn't really see any bottlenecks or problems with it. I ended up keeping mine after taking a closer look at it. The aftermarket ones are basically indistinguishable from the stock part, with the exception of finish.

Why is this in the tuning section?

That "dent" certainly looks smaller and smoother than any of the beads rolled at the ends of the pipe right in front of it.

You should probably just total the car
