Evoscan 2.7.0090 released

http://www.evoscan.com/evoscan-gps-o...oscan-software

Now Available - EvoScan v2.7.0090

Awesome new features:
• Windows 7 32bit and 64bit supported.
• Map Tracer for fast tuning and built-in ecu reflashing.
• Virtual Dyno feature is now better than ever.
• Faster datalogging and other performance improvements.
• Updated Map Tracer for fast tuning and built-in direct map editing and ecu reflashing. (EvoScan directly looks in the default ecuflash xml rommetadata folder for fuel and ignition tables specific settings for your rom file) Press [ or ] to increase/decrease Fuel or Timing values in the map editor. You can make use of the hotkeys to directly flash the updated rom to the vehicle quickly and with minimal effort.
• Virtual dyno feature is now better than ever, with additional smoothing options, and supports a wider range of csv log files. Ensure you have selected your vehicles details in the vehicle settings correctly. If the virtual dyno figures don't match your real dyno figures, you can use the dyno correction factor to set a base line for future virtual road dyno runs.
• Now stores logs in "My DocumentsEvoScan v2.7SavedDataLogs" (This is to better support Windows 7 32bit and Windows 7 64bit.)
• Removed single data.xml, now uses seperate DataSettings*.xml files.
EvoX xml settings updated - please use the new EvoX List, try not to copy your full old data.xml file over.
• Added a bunch of new Warning Alarm Sound files to choose from.
Map Tracer support added for EvoX and Evo5/6
• Now always remembers the last log folder you used.
Supports 4 different EvoX datalogging modes: MUTIII, CAN OBDII, Mode23, MUTIII SST.
Added EvoX Clear and Read DTC for EFI ecu. This should also work for Ralliart and other CAN based Mitsubishis.
• Now Supports Evo7/8/9 AYC Air Bleed and ACD Air Bleed (confirmed with 1.3U cable) select ACD from the dropdown, and use the Actuators window.
• Now supports Evo7/8/9 AYC+ACD datalogging (select ACD from the dropdown)

Anyone know if mode23 is still the prefered method?

Also, everyone pleaee put in a request for Evo X AYC Air Bleed and ACD Air Bleed, for future release.

Let me know what you find out. I'm stuck at work and can't play with it for awhile.

Awesome! I think the email I used when I originally bought Evoscan is no longer. How do I update? I want to request updating via the software itself.

I received the upgrade email and downloaded it. One issue was the link to the updated ECU Flash was not working. Anybody have a valid link to the ECU Flash upgrade that was also released?

slightly OT, but I figured I might get an answer in here.... does the newest ecuflash beta (1.43.3150) have any useful XML updates?

I just replaced the entire xml folder with the backup it makes during install (so glad it does this), but as an afterthought wondered if I lost any updates. I don't really care about anything besides the 52680xxx branch, but figured I'd ask in general. thanks!

Would the upgrade cause any issues with the existing xml modifications? ie: mode23, disable DTC etc...?

EvoScan isn't ECUFlash

However, if you've added/customized anything in EvoScan, you'll want to back up and make those changes again.

Upgrading to the newest Ecuflash, you can't go back to the old version ever unless you format. Word of the wise, use the older version for now.

I downloaded and installed the beta. Would not work for me. When opening a ROM I'd get "program stopped responding." Uninstalled it. Deleted the program folder. Re-installed 1422595_win works fine. BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR XML's.

OS: Windows 7 Pro

Yeah, but did you try connect with the car yet or the tactrix cable?
