big problem with zchip. help plzzz

hey guys I installed a zchip and an intake last week. everything else is stock. Today my service required light started blinking. the two codes have to do with the intake temp and the maf i think. Is this with the intake or the zchip? Also, my boost gauge says that it is running 23lbs...spiking up to like 26lbs sometimes. I thought that zchip left the stock boost, unless you are using an mbc. Any ideas here? i dont want my engine and/or turbo to explode lol.

Lose the z-chip and look over and tighten all hoses and clamps on the intake--thats your boost spike.. and the car and turbo only explode after the second post like this one.

THAT. There are far too many advanvements / knowledge to run the zchip. I seriously hope you reconsider using it.

I can't believe someone is installing a fresh ZChip after all the drama in the last 2 years.

What intake are you using? I know that all the zchips were custom developed for each original buyer so if you bought one from another member than it is probably not tuned for your car. It does not control your boost or have anything to do with your maf sensor so I would look at your intake as the culprit.

thanks for the input everyone. I still have a long warrrenty on my car any anything like a tune or flash would void it. Thats why i use the zchip....no traces. I will check all the pieces of the intake today. Also, i am reading 0 on air intake temperature on my obd gauge.....what could this have to do with??

An improper connection between the MAF and the ECU. Guess whats in the middle?

EDIT: False, see below

Cobb AP flashes the ECU just like a custom flash would.
