there are lots of subtle changes and a few major updates:

the VD section has been updated to reflect v1.0.8
the fuel injector section sample injector table has been stripped back to just the FIC-1000 injector, as all the other previous data was for the EVO7-8-9. There are some significant differences in the parameter values when appling injectors to the EvoX and Ralliart.
I hope to add more relevant data there as it becomes available from the community.
MUT address data has been expanded.
Plus a bunch of minor alterations throughout.

I want to include more of the EvoX/Ralliart specific error codes at some point, just need to find a reliable data set.
Idle control needs a lot of work but I dont trust my current data.
Plus I fully expect some things to change/evolve as Tephra digs further into the ECU coding.

Hi Merlin,

It might be nice to add a section on tuning this table set:

I don't know the "exact" way the ECU uses the idle control tables but here is what I've done to get consistant results:

Idle RPM#1-9 vs Coolant Temp: These are temperature based tables where the idle will start higher when cold and then drop lower as things warm up. When I wanted to increase my idle from 750 to 850 I simply raised the value to 850 in every place it was lower and left the higher values untouched. This allowed normal operation during warmup and prevented it from dropping too low when the car was at full temperature.

Target Idle #1-14: Here I also raised the value to 850 in every place it was lower in case it would effect the idle under specific conditions.

So far my idle never drops below 850 with these changes and I no longer get those strange vibrations when the engine RPM's dip lower than expected. Apparently when you swap in a really stiff front motor mount, 750 rpm idle will rattle your fillings loose!

Jon, that MAP map is going to be a tough one to write about and at the moment I dont feel well enough informed to to contribute much of any worth. I can think of some guys over your side of the big blue that would know it well though.

Hiboost, your point is well put, I will add something along the lines that you discussed. I think I kinda spooked myself on EvoX idle after mrfreds breakdown of Evo9 idle and I was expecting for the EvoX something as diabolical or worse. But maybe with the EvoX there is not a bunch of stepper tables, just a bunch of target tables.

I know I would feel happier if Tephra or mrfred chimed-in with some idle table usage commentary.

Re: Idle Tables

Some of them are used for things like A/C on | A/C off.. things like that. I know someone who found which were which by setting one to 0 and turning on or off the A/C and seeing when the car died. Problem is that he didn't document which one was which.

I know Tephra has said that there are many many idle tables.

Re: MAP tables

They are simply load look up charts based on RPM and Manifold Pressure. The ECU also uses the MAF sensor to calculate Load and then uses the lower of the 2 values.

Yup, I was more interested in a method to tune them properly... although the basic description in tephra's thread wouldn't hurt:

I agree that my method is somewhat a shotgun type of approach, but I can say with 100% certainty that if you raise the minimum values for all of them you will get the end result of increasing your minimum idle rpm.
