My dealer said I can get 2010/11 ecu flash put on my 08 MR for $100. I want to get rid of the rich mixture and maybe even the smoother sst shifting as well. I am wondering if anyone has done this or if anyone knows if its worth doing?

I would get a real tune but want to be able to return to stock on my own if I do. I assume if i bought a tatrix cable I could just do a backup of my ROM before it got tuned?

I am considering doing an AP but dont want to drop $600 on it right now.

your dealer is quite uninformed (cant flash 2010 rom to 08)

They do have updated flashes that should be done as service updates. Not charged for.
