Boost only @ 17-19psi max?

Hey guys I am currently running the Cobb AP with Stage 1 injen intake for 93 octane. I am only able to hit about 17-18 psi in 3rd and 4th @ WOT and 18-19 in 5th @ WOT. Any recommendations on what this could be noting that Cobb shows boost target levels at approx 24psi with this particular tune.
Mods- Inj intake, hard UICP+LICP, ETS V2 CBE-stock DV
Thanks for the help guys!

No Cobb clames you don't need to with the stage 1 tune. I was hitting approx 21 psi with the 91 octane tune running 93 octane fuel. Now with the 93 tune running 93 boost is lower. Also the temp is up about 20 deg from what it was.

i would say it has to be something with the map.

otherwise, just in case, check all of your vacuum lines

i dont think so, because the turbo will just spin faster to send the same amount of air.

try the other map. see how that goes

Vacuum is the same approx 19psi at idle with warm engine. When I get it back I may try uploading the 91 octane tune again and see how it does?.?. I just don't wanna pull that pill, but I may try it.

Find a similar vac line and use it this way the pill still remains inside the other one

boost pills are not hard to get in and out of the lines. just use a metal coat hanger.

is your boost gauge a mechanical or electrical?

Its the AEM digital boost gauge. Seems to be very accurate with other peoples readings as well. The Cobb AP doesn't read same boost levels. AEM is vacuum line to a pressure sensor then wiring to back of gauge. Works well.

My idle is usually 18-20 with no AC or anything on. Up to 16 with AC on. Cobb reds like -9 or so. Theres been discussions about vacuum reading being wrong on the AP. I'm just ready to get it back from paint! lol then I can actually get it done haha

If you aren't hitting your desired boost level chances are you have a boost leak. Do a boost leak test and you will surprise yourself.
