Question Cobb AP compatibility?

I was reading through the specs on a Cobb AP and it said that the Cobb AP is compatible for more than one car. So lets say I had a Cobb AP for a 2006 subaru, from what I have read implies that if I was to take this aforementioned Cobb AP and unmarry it form the Subie I should be able to load the Evo X maps onto it and just plug it into the Evo? Would I be correct in saying this or should?

It's the newer generation AP

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can not use a Subaru AP on a Mitsu car. They do offer a trade-in program, but you'd probably be better of selling it used.

Agreed, if you have a V1 Subaru AP use the trade in program available on COBB's website, if you have a V2 Subaru AP sell it and then purchase a new or used one for the Mitsubishi.
