Anyone running a MAP SRI with the Cobb AP?
Anyone running a MAP SRI with the Cobb AP?
Hey guys is anyone on here running the MAP SRI or the Primo intake with the Cobb AP? If so which MAP are you using?
Is it possible to run this with an AP map? MAPs website states that the SRI will need tunning due to the moving of the position of the MAF sensor.
Forgive me, as I am a newb at tunning, partly why I went the AP route to begin with. I would really like to get this intake, and I would like to run it with the AP, and I really don't want to get a pro dyno until I do a turbo upgrade. With that being said, after I install the SRI, which map would you advise that I try first? And then which areas on the AP should I monitor to see if it is going to be safe?
Thank you for your help and again please forgive me as I am pretty green at this.

As of right now after looking at all of the intakes that the Cobb AP supports, I'm thinking that the AMS intake most closely resembles this intake, and the positioning of the MAF sensor. But the AMS intake is 3 inches, as are the rest of the intakes that the AP supports. Has anyone run a 3.5 inch intake on the AP?
What will I need to look at after the install? A/F ratio? Any others? Where should this be at? Is there any adjustablility with in the AP to account for this. What factors will I need to be looking at and how should I go about adjusting them if out of spec?
Again thanks for any helpful insight that you can supply.

As of right now the Cobb AP supports the stock paper filter, injen intake, aem intake, cobb sf intake, ams intake, and foam HKS panel filter.
