Service Engine Soon Light

Okay I recently got a DownPipe, Test Pipe, a BOV, and a tune installed about a week ago.

When I left the shop when I put the car into 5th gear and got on it a little the yellow "Service Engine Soon" light flashed a few times but went away.

Then it did that again a couple days later. Well this morning that light came on and now it's staying on.

What could this problem be? Emissions monitor problem? It only did that flashing when I really got on the gas pedal. Just cruising it didn't come on.

The car only has about 7,900 miles on it and before I had that stuff installed and a tune that light never came on. The car runs just fine btw.

Update: Went to Autozone and they ran a check for me and this what it said,

I just contacted my tuner and he said he's pretty sure he knows what the problem is and will fix it for me this weekend. BTW how would I get the code read? I don't have any gadgets for that :/

just go to autozone or advanced. they'll read it for you for free. also most shops have an obd2 reader and should be able to read it as well.

isn't this just related to your test pipe?
usually you trip that code because of it

I just had a AMS Test Pipe Catted put on my car when this started happening so I'm assuming it's directly related to that. My question is how how are they gonna fix this?

I noticed lots of black soot on my trunk that I didn't used to get since getting the Test Pipe and DownPipe installed. Could the 02 Sensor problem be causing my car to spew soot from the exhaust all over the back of my car?

the black soot is normal because of the test pipe.
you can fix it with an antifouler

also I've got the same code after putting my test pipe on. I've been driving around like that with about 2000 kms and it's fine. I will get it properly tuned and disabled soon though.

You took the catalytic converter off your car.

That code can/will still appear with a lot of those cats as they do not do a suffient enough job of cleaning your exhaust gases.

If you had posted one of those pics earlier, I couldn't see it on my work pc. Sorry.
