EVO Transfer Case

No holds barred, how easy is it to break one of these from launches. I also have been seeing some horror stories of clutch installs from shops damaging these things. Now I'm all worried. I get my car back tomorrow.... and she went in for a clutch upgrade!

Don't launch your car and you just might save your clutch, tranny and transfer case. The driveline is pretty stout, but launching is basically a driveline killer.

Moderators or old school evo-heads please let me know if this post is out of bounds.

Okay, so should I just look to upgrade the differential or the transfer case itself? I mean 'sometimes' you have to launch. But I'm guessing that any launch does permanent damage which would be accumulative. So I'm thinking low RPM.

OMG this is in the X forum! I just noticed that. Moderator can you beam me up?
