tubular manifold

Hi guys i got tuned last summer...fp red..bla bla bla... I was supposed to do cams/springs/retainers/tubular manifold this summer but im out of budget for the cams.... Is there a need of getting tune if im only putting a tubular manifold in place??? I know it would help...but is there a necessary need of a tune after only a tubular manifold??? Tks guys!!!

If you get one.... Coat it, wrap it, put shielding on every line, hose, plastic piece etc. you can't get too carried away.

Wouldn't that give you a danger of overboosting? I don't know why you'd wonna risk that....

I would recommend investing on tuning, switching to tubular manifold will change up the characteristics of how your turbo will react and spool, not to mention a good tune will go a long way even on a stock setup being that factory ecu are always very conservative with fuel and ignition mapping.

I have the Full Race manifold installed, as well as the MAP EF2 and the car needed major re tuning.

Now I have to sort the god aweful fueling issues.

My MAP surge tank seems not to being the job, despite all the FPR install and hoses etc.

I would get one, each tubular is going to be different by design and especially different from the stocker. I just put a tubular on and its a world of difference.
