If anyone cares, this questions was answered elsewhere. Windows 7 Starter is fine, because it's 32-bit. Now the question is whether 2 GB ram is required.

From what I've read even win 7 32 bit will not work. You may just have to install virtualbox and do a virtual xp installation (runs well on modern process but not sure how that would run on a netbook). Either way can't hurt to try.

Vadimus is probably right though - he's tried many more configurations.

My Lexia is on a slow boat from China (literally, it seems). Is there any way to start preparing and testing the netbook before I get it?

If anyone has this in MA or in New England in general I would totally want to have my TPMS disabled!

If not, I'll be looking forward to reading this in depth How-to-guide

Diagbox before pp2200?

edit: It seems that pp2200 is built in to recent versions of DiagBox, so the answer appears to be a qualified Yes. Too back the place with the free copy has used all its bandwidth.

What I find amusing (when in a good mood) and frustrating (the other 99% of the time) is this: all of the relevant threads on this topic are cross-linked to each other. [No, that's not the frustrating part.] As I hit each link, I follow it and read what's there. A little later, there will be a link in second thread taking me back to the first. [Nope, that's still not the problem.] When I get back to the first thread, I start reading from where-ever I landed. Often this is back at the beginning. [Not quite there....] So, I read starting from the beginning and never seem to notice that this is what I was reading twenty minutes before because I'm so lost that none of this is sticking. [Yep, the emphasized part is what is making me cry.]

Iowa, did you ever get your unit working?

I'm about to purchase one so I wanted to prepare and start reading. I found links to download software, but they have all expired.

Just let me know if you need help buddy!

Hehe, and sorry for helping to create an endless loop of awesomeness. I wanted to make sure the relevant information was leaked.

Anyone in SoCal been successful? If so, I'd be willing to pay you to disable TPMS and the service reminder.

Thanks Vadimus!

Had him disabled my tpms after having dealership replacing me with defective tpms that causes tire leakage for 2 years!

Couldn't ask for anymore from a fellow Mitsu owner!
