Can this or is there a way to be able to start the vehicle with the stock remote keys and not adding a starting system. I could have sworn i have seen a video with someone doing this.

I installed my wheels over the weekend and I forgot about getting a warning light. About 10kms later I get this massive warning light telling me service required. I almost shat myself until I realized that its due to not having the TPMS sensors in my new wheels lol

As much as its just a warning light it still really does bug me and would love to get this fixed. Does anyone know if the dealer has the capability of disabling this warning? I know they tell you no they cant but Im sure they say that as its their policy.

They should be able to, but don't expect anyone willing to do it.

I really hope they can as my friend has a friend that is a mechanic at Mitsu. If anyone will do this for me it will be this person. If it's technically possible for them to do it.

Dealerships are full of morons. .Adam, check ETACS thread on mitsubishiforum.com, I am pretty sure I saw someone doing this in Winnipeg.

On the other hand, if you have a less moronic or just friendly dealership over there, we can arrange a remote fix.

Dealer's MUT-3 is required. You go to dealer, he downloads your config file, you send it to me, I change it and send back to you so dealer can write it back.

Not an easiest way but blame Mitsu

Thanks for the info Vadimus!

I'll see if I can find someone in Winnipeg who can do this and if I can't find anyone I'll try your remote option

So I took your advice, found probably the one and only person in this city that has the cable and the software and had my tpms warning light disabled in just a few minutes!

The warning symbols disappeared as soon as we saved the settings. I can't be any happier and will most likely get my own cable

Thanks for the advice vadimus!

Let me know if you find someone in Winnipeg. I'd drive down to have him do this for me as well.
Anyone in Alberta that does it?
