couples of days ago i got service required sign on and then my evo start skiping 1 , 3 , 5 gear, took my car to dealer ( havent got any answer from the delaer yet ) but i think there is a leak in the transmission. mods i have on my car are

ETS full intake
Defi Boost Gauge AEM Air/fuel Gauge
EBCS boost controller
ETS Quiet Exhaust
Turbo smart BOV.

I guess 330 WHP & sorry not sure how much tq. I dont even drive my car daily.
My question is if I need to go back to stock. how can I do it ?, is this issue happen beacuse of the mods i have on the car? and If i keep my car stock I wil never have a transmission issue like this ?

thanks in advance guyz.

Well to go back to stock, you would need to buy the stock parts and put them on... I don't think it's because of your mods though. And 330whp for those mods seems a little high. Have you been tuned?

It's possible. I don't know much about how the SST works. I would try pming Kracka as he seems to known everything about the MR. He's a moderator here and would be more then willing to help. I do believe it's something with the tune. There are plenty of members running close to same mods and do not have those issues.

I agree with faheem...what kind of a tune do you have? "330whp" seems like a lot to me. I have an 08MR with similar mods and mine dyno'd out at 245whp

Is it tuned with OpenSource or a Cobb AP? I had an MR in the shop a couple weeks ago that was tuned on a Cobb AP (at another local shop) and after the tune it was slipping like crazy (the other shop told him he needed to upgrade his clutch packs). I didn't think it was the trans itself, but in the tune. So after uninstalling the Cobb and tuning him on OpenSource he had no more SST slipping. Did it happen right after the tune?
