E85 to 93? How to?

My car is currently tuned on E85, but I'd like to switch back to 93 for the winter. I have looked, but don't see much in the way of guidelines or a how to to go back. Here is what I'm thinking.

Run the car outta gas and then fill up with 93, and flash a map over with:

  • Adjusted injector scaling.
  • Reduced timing.
  • Adjusted AFR tables on the richer side.
  • Reduced boost.
And then just tuning from there the way you normally would. I've never tuned before but my understanding is...
  1. Scale injectors correctly to get stft and ltft in line.
  2. Tune timing.
  3. Tune boost.
  4. Tune AFR.
That about right? Any suggestions, tips, tricks, etc?

You are right on track.

But... I would just run E85 all winter. I have for a few winters now. No issues, even with super cold starts.

Yeah, sounds about right. Also check the calibration fuel map to make sure it wasn't messed with when being tuned for E85. There are multiple ways to adjust fueling, but most just use the injector scaling.
You back in VA?
