Installing parts & Professional Tune..?

I'm in Orange County Area, Southern California. Would you recommend the Cobb Tuning shop in Fountain Valley?

Would it be unwise to buy all the parts I want, have it installed by the tuner, and then proceed to have it professionally tuned right after?

I don't really know how to do anything, and I would do it myself if I had the equipment or means to. But I'd rather just pay for labor, since i'll probably screw something up.
