I just received my first smog check test requirement' . I'm looking for a smog shop in fountain valley or surrounding (south oc) areas where I can take my evo and not get rejected. I'm sure I'll be fine to pass don't have much in the car for this reason '. I only have injen I/c/p turboxs intercooler that's it . any suggestions?

 

You will be fine. Take it to any shop.

 

they didn't care when I was in cali as long as I passed the test where they actually put it on the dyno, which pretty much just required the cat to be installed

 

They don't put awd cars on the dyno. they do an idle and, I believe, a 2500 rpm test.
Your lucky either way, I was given crap about my intercooler pipes, I guess it didn't help that my cams were loping really bad. I went untuned and actually passed by the skin of my teeth, max HC was 100 ppm, I was at 94ppm. Long story short, the reason was I NEEDED to be smogged asap otherwise its silly to try and get smogged with an untuned car. I did and passed, yay.

 

Euclid/Trask right before 22 entrance in a gas station. Run your car hard for about 15 to 20 minutes (take the freeway long way there). Are you the GG evo in the Ward/Warner area? Injen intake without proper tuned may give some trouble.
