AMS High Flow Cat. Pass Smog?

I have an AMS TBE with test pipe. I'm currently in So. Cal. and I'm thinking about changing it to an AMS High Flow Cat to pass smog/emissions. Question is i wanna be sure if the AMS High Flow Cat will pass smog or not. If you reside in Cali and have a high flow please let me know. thanks..

i have a 3" WORKS HFC and it will pass. i have put it on a smog machine just to test and verify myself. when i put it on the machine i was suprised. even though it isnt CARB approved, the techs usually dont check for the CARB label, just that you have one and then look at the machine.

i dont think ALL do. it depends how well it'll filter the exhaust gas...not all HFCs have the same filtering setup

I passed smog with the AMS 3in TBE and highflow cat, fuel pump, K&N drop in, -3/-3 cam gear settings on HKS 272/264 cams, intercooler, and a tune on my Xede piggyback...

Ask AMS what CAT they use. They dont actually make the cat, they fab the piping and flanges so it will fit. I have the 3" Magnaflow cat and I passed with the mods listed in my sig.

Im a smog tech here at work bored out of my mind... (its slow) but anyways...
and yes most smog techs do just look at the cat... we dont make sure it's oem or anything so long as it's there and the tailpipe is clean...
