Question Downpipe-Back Exhaust

Just wondering if a tune is needed for basically a 3" cat and muffler delete. I know you don't need one for a CBE and in some cases a TBE but I wasn't sure about this one.

Apologies if this is a repost.

yes tune will be needed due to test pipe andmuffler delete. Even after you have a tune on a HFC and switch it is possible to cause issues, so even a re tune then is reccommended.

Why are you upset? A tune is always a good thing to help maximize your setup and get the most potential from your new parts.

No, I know that...but I just don't want to get tuned yet.

In all honesty I just want a CBE so my X at least sounds good until I eventually sell it and get a IX. I don't plan on keeping the X too long.

Why sell it? Take it from a guy who's owned a IX and a X

Dunno. I've always preferred the IX but when it came down to actually pulling the trigger I went with the X. And I've had bad luck in my X so far...
