2008 evo x mr tuning question!!
2008 evo x mr tuning question!!
Hey guys, I have an ETS o2 dump downpipe coming in this month, i currently have an UR 3" downpipe, 3" testpipe, and a straight pipe cat back (no muff, no reso). My tuner tuned it to 270 WHP / 275 WTQ. If I put the downpipe should i get a retune? BTW im putting in my HKS Hi Power catback together when i put the ETS o2 dump...
And one more question to tuners out there. My current tuner is having problems with tuning the MR because everytime he puts more than 275 torques.. The clutches slips... Is there a problem with my clutch? He also said that he doesnt have the SST Tables in his ECUFLASH system... anyway any good info will be appreciated!! THANKS!!!!

it will probably be ok in terms of tune, as long as it wasn't a bleeding edge tune.
SST stuff - there is no way on a stock turbo you should be having slip issues, if everything in the transmission is healthy. There is likely something that can be easily fixed in the tune. If he wants, get your tuner to get in touch with me i can show him what to do if he is having trouble. or, if your SST really is toast, i can probably diagnose that aswell
