Looking for East Coast Tuners

I am looking for an East Coast tuner in the TriState area of PA/NJ/DEL and even NY if need be. I have a '12 GSR with Injen Short Ram Intake w/UICP. In the next few days I will be installing the Tomei Expreme Ti Titanium Catback exhaust with Tomei Titanium Test Pipe and Widemouth Downpipe. I found a price on a new HKS SSQV BOV for $150 online so I might purchase that as well. I am looking for reputable tuners in the area that can help me out. I spoke with Cobb about the Accessport and they said they do not have anything that will work with my mods but are currently working on something (who knows when that will be complete).

Is it even worth getting the Accessport?

Has anyone ever heard of KP Tuning in Bucks County Pa area or Speed Circuit in Mays Landing NJ area?

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

CBRD. Best shop in the area for Evo's. Chad would probably say go ahead and get an open source tune, no Cobb AP...and don't think that even if Cobb had "a map for your mods,"that it will come close to a professional dyno tune.

Look up CBRD in York PA, you won't be disappointed.

Oh, the SSQV BOV doesn't tend to work super well with X's...so I would save your money unless you need the sound when you shift...

Akuma Motorsports are reputable, I've heard good things about Speed Circuit, mixed reviews on Ivey, there is also Krazy House Customs in Monmouth Junction, and Night Shift I think is at the old Turbo Trix location. If you're willing to drive to Boston to go to Kaizen there is STM in NY and various places in Connecticut. You have plenty of options.

The Synapse DV is the next best thing to stock.

Synapse is great, and yea probably best for higher boost. The stock DV is usually good to 26 PSI. A reason people get the SSQV and the TurboSmart BoV is because they make cool sounds when you shift...other than that there are much better options for holding high boost.

We're a bit of a hike but we do etune via Cobb. We are mainly a Cobb protune shop for the Evo X platform. It gives the end user a bit of more information on their cobb with the handheld unit. Open source is awesome, but leaves the end user with no way of checking their car on the fly if they wish to monitor it like you can with the Cobb. (Without buying gauges of course). Both methods are awesome tuning methods, we can do in house open source tuning, but etunes are strictly Cobb.

Do yourself a huge favor and look outside of NJ for your tune. There is not one shop in the state I would ever recommend to an EVO owner.
