Stock 08 GSR, loss of power in high rpm

Greetings,

I recently bought a stock 08 GSR with 52k miles and I have a quick question about the pull in the high rpm range. The car pulls nice up until about 4000-4500 rpm then it seems like it looses power after that. I am not sure if this is normal for a stock evo or if there is a problem or could it be that this is how the stock tune is set up. I also just install an ams intake and gfb bov and it still does the same thing. would an AP or custom tune solve this issue? Any helpful info would be appreciated. thanks.

If you havnt tuned it, you really need to do that esp if the BOV vents to the atmosphere. I'd start there. But with the stock Turbo it runs out of steam the higher you get and starts dropping boost

My car felt the same. At a certain RPM it would stop pulling. For stock, that's normal (from what I've read). I got a tune and it pulls hard all the way to redline.

Get a tune
