Emissions check OBD Error - help

I recently went in to get emissions checked to renew the plates and it failed.

The car is lightly modded. Catback exhaust, ets hfc, and a stage 2 cobb ap ots map. Results from the check are

OBD Communication: Fail
Reason: Cat. Conv. Unsupported Programming Error

Not really sure what that means and how to fix it.

I have the rear o2 hooked up and read some threads with people passing without issues with the OTS stage 2 map.

I haven't been able to find much on cat. conv unsupported programming error though. Any help appreciated.

What's up STL bros? But if you uninstall the cobb make sure you do not do anything but putt putt around, otherwise you risk damage to your car

Theres two options on the cobb ap, disable rear o2 or disable rear o2 CEL.

I think you need to use disable rear o2 CEL instead of turning it off completely in order to pass emissions.

Unless the car is heavily modified just remove the software and put the ecu back to stock and drive it for a few days and it will pass just fine.

and if it is heavily modified? I'm not trying to be difficult I'd just like to learn. To understand what I'm seeing in ECUFlash. or if you can point me in the right direction I could just read the information I need

If it's heavily modified then the stock tune is not safe for it to run on, which will damage the engine

Are you on cobb or opensource? If it's open source it's easy to do emissions, I actually just got mine done today with no problems

Okay, Then there is a patch that you can enable in the tune that will show that everything is ready, were you ever able to get a rear o2?

He was, I was helping Hawk here instead of having him open another thread since the Cobb Discussion seemed to have died out
