Cobb AP & Pro Tune?
I am going to be getting a Pro Tune in the next month, but should I have a Cobb AP first? New to the Evo scene and Ive seen a lot of people who have the AP's and get pro tuning.
Why would I need the AP if I am getting pro tuned? Pros and Cons?
This is the problem Im having: After installing MAPerformance DP with o2 dump and test pipe getting over boost code & o2 code. P0420, P0234. Also, during acceleration exhaust backfires engine sputters. Usually happens between 4500-5500rpm.
Looking to get tuned at Top Speed in Atl.
Thanks.

Definitely go get tuned as soon as possible...
You don't need an AP. It is just another way a tuner can tune your car. It is nice to have a small handheld device that can stay in the car so you can swap tunes and all if necessary. An open-source tune is just as good, really depends on the preference of your tuner.
