FP Red and supporting mods tune question
FP Red and supporting mods tune question
So I been looking at upgrading the stock turbo to an FP Red, and upgraded oil line and 1100cc FIC injectors and a walboro 255lph fuel pump ( searched the forums and Google and seen this seems to be what everyone runs and recommends for 93 oct). Is there anything else I might need to add as well? My biggest question is once I do all my own installation. I'm in East Tennessee and am unsure of good pro tuners near my area. Is it possible to get someone that's good at E tuning that does good work to hook me up on a 93 tune for the Red? I have every bolt possible at the moment on the car including a FMIC and I'm running a Cobb stage 3 map with their ecbs currently. Id also like to send my turbo off right now while I got my transmission and transfer case out. I'm installing a 6 puck ACT currently but I fear upgrading now wouldn't be good trying to tune on a clutch and flywheel surface that hasn't been broke in. Maybe some of you all can advise me if I should stick to that idea as well. But my main concern is e tuning a possible, acceptable way when upgrading pump, injectors, and turbo as I've read on here and other forums about staying at the 360 ftlb tq or lower due to making a hole in the block. I appreciate all input and thanks.
