Ethanol

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but not an expert in this area.

My local stations have been offering ethanol free premium. Given 10% ethanol fuel has been around for so long, and cars I assume are tuned for it. Is this fuel okay for stock evo?

Are there benefits even?

Regards,
Kevin

Yes. If I understand it correctly, less ethanol will produce less opportunity for water in the tank, support greater fuel longevity, more consistent fuel. I think that's right.

You are better off running the 10% ethanol. I saw zero difference in power previously, and in my daily from driver I noticed zero gas mileage gain. So basically pay additional for nothing.
