Hi guys,

So theres a safety recall for my vehicle (2010 evo x gsr) which basically states hardware electrical issues and that they may need to replace the ECU unit (NHTSA Recall #15V232). I have a dual map tune and will defintely lose it if I take it to the dealer and they end up replacing it. The car won't run on a stock map because the injector are too large and probably just bog out.

My question is if I hook up a tactrix cable and download the rom, would I be able to flash it back without any extra problems? Will it retain the toggle function that was set to the cruise control button? Sorry for the noob questions but this would be my first time doing it and the guy who tuned my car retired a couple years back.
