28-30 psi on stock block / turbo ..

who's running 28 - 30 psi on a stock block/turbo with no issues ...

Plenty of guys doing it on E85.

Would depend on timing, but 28psi is probably pushing it on 93 with the stock turbo due to back pressure and turbo efficiency.

Can't post stuff like that without saying octane of fuel, and how much timing was in it. Timing is fairly critical when it comes to how much boost you can run on gas..

Just so you understand; 28psi on a FP Black or GTX3576R is not the same as 28psi on say a FP 71HTA or a 20g. In general the bigger the turbine the more power your going to make for a given boost reported.
With that said I kiss 27psi with a GTX style 20g with 9 blade TD05 turbine on the stock block with 93 octane fuel. I will have to post back my timing map. I don't have the guts for 30psi. Running 25-26psi to redline.

Running that high of a boost level on a stock turbo is inefficient. The stock turbo start to die off at top end. After about 5,500RPM my power curve started to flat out and was not making anymore power.

Doesnt the stock turbo lose efficentcy after 27 psi on pump gas?
