New owner and need help...

I recently picked up a 2010 evo x MR that has a protune.. Not sure who did it and how it was done.. But I need to get the car to pass emission In order to register..

Today I picked up an unmarried accessport., my question is, will I be able to flash one of cobbs OTS maps In order to activate some emission monitors that the protune disabled. Assuming by installing the accessport, it will save the current protune as the stock base tune...

Any inputs.?

Yes. Just don't flash a stage 3 map (depending on your mods). It also disables the rear and you won't pass.

It'll work, and if you uninstall the Accessport it'll put the tuned ROM back on. Just make sure when you flash it that you stay out of boost, especially if you aren't sure what mods are on there.

I know you just picked up the AP, but if inspection becomes an issue, I used the inspection patch with an OpenPort and passed yesterday.
