Irregular idle after bricking eco

Irregular idle after bricking eco

After recovering my ecu after i bricked it the CEL come on and has high idle on start up.ive checked the vac lines and i have tried different tunes and no change.the rpms bounce around 1k when in neutral while moving and are normal as soon as i come to a stop.has anyone experienced this before or know what the cause could be?

How did you recover it? Was it benched? And which rom did you flash onto it?

Could be throttle body relearn. How many miles have you put on it?

I removed it and used the ecuflash tactrix method.i flashed the rom i had on it before the brick 5958006 for a 2015 gsr

She was at 96k km when i bricked her.im at over 100k now

I did start it after the recovery to make sure it worked then shut it off and the issue started the 2nd start up

I'm suspecting what razorlab is thinking. I'd just drive it for a bit and let the ECU re-learn idle.

You can also force a re-learn.

Evo X Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV) Relearn Process

1. Start the engine and let it warm up. Use the MUT-III to confirm that the engine coolant temperature
exceeds 85 C (185 F). The A/C switch should be OFF for this procedure.
2. Repeat the following step 3 times:
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and wait at least 10 seconds.
Restart the engine.
Leave the engine running on the third start.
3. Allow the vehicle to idle for a minimum of 15 minutes.

^ the above - was thinking, maybe try letting it sit for 10-15 minutes
