Hello from Germany - EVO X and Scooby STI GDB (EVO Scan Question)
Hello and greetings from north Germany!
My name is Daniel, since nearly 20 years I´m a great fan of japanese sports cars... in my past I have driven a lot of different cars, but at least I think AWD Turbo´s are the best :-)
So I´m driving at the moment an EVO X (US-Spec) and a RHD Impreza WRX STI Blobeye (J-Spec).
Attached a picture of them :-)
And that´s the reason I´m here, I have some problems using the software EvoScan / StiScan - I´m using the OpenPort 2.0.
I can read without any problems the Diagnostic Trouble Codes from the EVO X, but not from the Subaru. I´m using the settings "Subaru I/II" and I tried all available ECU´s in the software, but everytime I have the info "Index was outside the bounds of the array".
Does anyone have an advice which settings are correct or what I´m doing wrong?
Thanks and best regards from f****** hot Germany,
Daniel

Hi Joe,
thanks for moving the thread to the correct place.
Yes it´s very hot here today - about 30° celsius, so about 86° fahrenheit :-)
Yes I hope someone can help and tell me the correct settings to use the EvoScan / StiScan Software for my STI :-)

Evoscan isn't great for Scooby's mate, try RomRaider https://www.romraider.com/
If you get Evoscan to work, it will give you the same logging details as a $14 OBDii reader anyway. RomRaider has more STi-centric data logging options.
Cheers from Canada,
RM
