Sup guys so I’m in need of a timing chain replacement for my 08 Evo MR. I ordered a whole kit with the tensioner & guides on eBay for a good price. I was looking at MAP’s Billet tensioner guide to hold more power but if I recall I seen a guy who had bad luck with it 5k miles in for some odd reason. Idk, maybe something was off & caused the chain to brake but if anyone has built their MR to above 450 whp which is my goal lmk if you’ve had any warps or damaged OEM plastic tensioner guides on your timing chains, I would like to know in advance if they are worth getting.
