2010 MR with some mods

Continued from the other thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...errerid=160604

Parts so far:
850 KSM modified injectors
Invidia turbo back high flow cat exhaust
Kinugawa -TF06-18KX BB turbo
GS 3 port
AEM WBO2&Boost gauges
Looks like I'll may need an intake with filter, and a better BOV, for now.
91 Octane is the best we have unless I want to make/mix my own fuel.

Short story: I finally starting to get the injectors set up correctly. I had problems getting the AFR to match the tables as it was too high due to me over-scaling them. I am still waiting on EvoScan to send me the program I had ordered, or even return emails to me - holidays/Covid?. Tactrix self-logging sends some bad data when too many parameters are included. Being a bit late to the game, many of the links and files are MIA.

Today I had reasonable WOT runs with suggested changes to MIVEC, Boost, SST, and Fuel maps. VD smoothing 2, 310wHP and 305wT - knock 0 with the occasional 1&2, Boost 24.6psi tapering to 20.2psi at 7000rpm. (I had higher numbers last week using some very aggressive suggestions, but the AFR was too lean and the knock was 7).

Remember when I said my AFRs were high? Well today at WOT, on my gauge I saw a nice drop to below 12.0 then a steady state in the mid to low 11s. I was quite surprised to see my logged AFR was continuously over 18 but fluctuating. BTW, the logged AFR was 18ish at cruise and at idle, but the gauge was 14.5-15.3. I was logging a lot of parameters and this one seem to be the only one to be corrupted. In previous logging sessions I had bad or missing speed and load data.

edit: As it turns out, the connection to Pin 8 from the AEM lead was at fault and Pin 8 defaulted to 5v. It is reading correctly now. Small things that can cause potentially serious issues.

During the 2 pulls the load was between 245 - 271 and I suspect the only way to get it higher is to increase the air-flow via boost and/or an intake.
Timing in the heart of the pull was 7-8 increasing above 5,500rpm to 14 at 6,700rpm with a knock of 1-2 above 6,500rpm, so there might not be much more that can be done here except a small bump at lower RPM.
AFR. Obviously a leaner profile would increase the power, but is it worth the risk to move it to the higher 11s?
MIVEC. I am running the an advance intake and adjusted exhaust profiles as suggested in previous year's posts. Have these profiles held up to the hype generated in 2010-2011?

Thoughts?
