Bare minimum for Cali smog test?

Let me start by saying I'm still pretty new to cars despite owning this Evo X for the past 6 years, so try not to bite my head off if I ask what's perceived as a stupid question.

Chose 5150 for my tune. With AMS intake + ETS o2 dump/test/v2 + grimmspeed boost controller, I ended up with a conservative 320/350. My questions are:

1. Would the CEL light up if I swap the original intake and entire exhaust back without flashing ecu to stock? Literally driving it half a mile to get smogged. Would this cause any considerable damage?

2. Would a tuner be able to store my current tune, flash to stock, then just reinstall the same exact tune with no issues? No dyno. How much would that generally cost?

3. Is Cali (SoCal) really that strict when it comes to smog? First time getting a modded/tuned car smogged. Kind of hoping I can leave the downpipe on as I remember that was a pain to install.

TIA for any suggestions.

You will need the factory tune to pass smog from all the threads I have read, but... So going back to factory intake/cat, and stock tune is what you need. I do believe you can leave the catback on and still pass, I wonder if the DB level law applies to smog, I don't think so..
