AEM X series gauge issue

Wanted to change some things up so i went my Innovate gauges to AEM. I After my install i found that i was showing peak boost almost 2 PSI more then what i was showing on my last gauge as well as what Im logging. I contacted AEM and they said when the engine is OFF but the POWER is ON. Your boost gauge should read 0.0-.05 mine is reading + 1.1-1.5 positive psi.
they had me test the boost sensor which checked out fine. They made me break the new gauge and sent me another gauge. which is still having the same issue. I could be the one unlucky guys that may have this issues but have you guys ran into anything like this? I contacted AEM again and I have to break the new gauge they sent me and they are going to send me out a new gauge and harness.

You don't have any other wiring tapped into it do you? What are you running the power off of? Could be a resistance issue.

I do have my AEM AFR gauge tapped into it like most do. Again AEM already had me test the voltage and came back within spec. But i have both gauges in an add a fuse to the 15amp fuse as most do on there evo x.
i guess i can try to power the boost alone with the 20amp above the 15 and use the 15 to power my AFR gauge but i do not think it will do much. i did referance how i powered my gauge from the YT video below.
same as this guy did his.

*Update Your AEM gauge should read 0.0 when the power is on and engine is off. If you have a positive reading your gauge is defective. This is per AEM warranty.
