Hey guys, so I'm new here and new to EVOX tuning, I've done EVO8s and EVO9s before(previously owned cars),I used to use the ecuFlash software with their cable, I recently bought an Evo10, wanting to tune it...it had bolt ons that I took off...and stroker motor that blew...so I replaced with stock and wanting to flash it back to what a stock flash would be...I read the ECU using ecuflash as usual, but can't for the life of me find the definition for this ecu! I uploaded my ecu read...can anyone help please?

Need the ROM ID.

Is this a USDM evo or Euro?

I just tried it, says ecu flash encountered an unknown rom,i try the wizard, and choose copied from ,and choose the above xml, it still shows nothing when I upload it.. it's not a DCT btw

 

So it's a 2015 MR? I can't read the rom. something up with it.

Probably be better to just flash an OEM rom on there.

 

I misspoke, I meant to say it's not a DCT...it's a 2015 GSR 5 speed manual... I edited my post above sorry. Where would i get an OEM rom for it? would immobilizer be of concern? I think it might have an aftermarket tune that's encrypted or something? all i want is to revert it back to stock at this point, because it doesn't run very well with the stock motor and parts

Now the fan stays on I think this might've bricked the ecu.... help please..

If it's a 2015 GSR, that rom will work. Just flash it. Unless you just bricked your ECU by stopping the process.

Ecuflash gives you the option of exiting programming mode. So do that to make sure you didn't brick it.

Hey everyone, it might be a stupid question but I have to ask. I was tuning evo 8-9 with ecuflash previously and some evo x years 2008-2010. Now I am buying 2014 or 2015 evo x and I already downloaded ecuflash but from what I see definitions are only up to year 2013. Where can I find definitions for 2014 and 2015 evo x 5 speed manual usdm? Thanks!!
